The Clippers have given their starting center a very specific green light.

LA Clippers center Isaiah Jackson has won the starting job. Given an opportunity to play with the starters in training camp, Jackson paired well with Darius Garland and the rest of that group, earning Ty Lue's trust for the opening night nod.

One thing Jackson did in the preseason he didn't do in any of his 17 games with the Clippers last season was make a 3-pointer. Missing the only two he took after arriving in LA last season, Jackson did not have that as part of his game, entering the offseason with just seven total makes in his career.

That is expected to change this season.
