It's not about the 2026-27 LA Clippers
We've seen this before.
The LA Clippers have primarily been in win-now mode since 2019. Since that summer when Kawhi Leonard and Paul George joined forces close to home, LA has started each season with at least two future Hall of Fame players on the roster.
While injuries have caused expectations to fluctuate, the Clippers have spent the better part of this last decade expecting to compete for an NBA championship. That is not the case this season, and the organization has made that clear.
